N.L.Lakhanpal IAS (Retd.)
CHAIRMAN
He has held positions like Member-Securities Appellate Tribunal, Secretary to Government of India, Director General Foreign Trade- Government of India, Principal Secretary-Finance- Government of Maharashtra and Chief Executive, Indian Trade Promotion Organization in the last decade of his four decade long public service. He is thus an authority on corporate law, finance and international trade. Prior to that he had also handled departments like Education and Health besides spending the initial decade of his service in the rural areas as District Magistrate and Divisional Commissioner. He was Director General Foreign Trade during the crucial period of 1997 to 2002 which witnessed, besides tough negotiations at the WTO, removal of all quantitative restrictions on imports and exports, lowering of import tariffs and complete opening up of sectors like automobiles, insurance, banking, telecommunications etc. His tenure in the rural areas in the formative stages of his career enabled him to know the intricacies of rural marketing which should in any case be the prime objective of the entire corporate sector for sustainable growth.
DR. POOJA SANJEEV Ph.D
She is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai. Has been having independent practice as HRD Consultant and has also been coordinating and supervising market research activities of Zeitgeist Advisorate since 1994. She has also been in academics, teaching HR and Corporate Communications to Post Graduate students in premier management institutes of country. She thus combines in her the research acumen of an academician with the zeal and the dynamism of an entrepreneur.
She is currently working as Associate Professor, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi- a Government of India owned Deemed University awarding MBA degrees in foreign trade.
M.K. Moitra IAS
Has held important positions like Secretary, Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority; Development Commissioner, Iron and Steel; Chairman, UEC SIL Information Technology Ltd (A joint venture of SAIL and US Steel). Also spent considerable time as Secretary, Urban Development Department in the Government of West Bengal; Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata and Director (Housing) in the Government of India.
D. S. Solanki IRS
A Post Graduate in Economics, Rose to the highest position of Chairman, Central Board of Excise and Customs and Chairman, Settlement Commission on Excise and Customs in the Indian Revenue Services (IRS). His tenure at the helm of affairs in the Department of Revenue, Government of India was known for industry friendly reforms, simplification of procedures and considerable increase in revenues.
